Eruption in Florida!
Tom Ascol reports on his blog today about what seems to be a rising stench over some questionable actions on the part of some of the Florida Baptist Convention Staff as relates to a local Florida Baptist Association.
Read the blog and then try to answer these questions.
What are these convention guys thinking?
Why pick a fight with Calvinists in the home state of Tom Ascol and Roy Hargrave? Are they nuts?
Sounds like to me at least a couple of quick resignations are in order in the FBC.

I worked as a church planting missionary for nearly 7 years at the Florida Baptist Convention as an out-of-the-closet Calvinist. You and your readers might be interested in some of my insights on the "eruption," even though I'm now serving as a missionary in Wales.

The Thin Edge of the Wedge
Why pick a fight in Florida, where Tom & Roy live and minister? Because the anti-grace boys hold power and have the resources. Plus, if they can win the battle where Tom and Roy have the most influence, it will be a bonus for them. IMO, at least.
